Description: Many amateur cutters work all week at their day job, then like to participate in cutting over the weekend. Since these weekend cutters aren't able to practice the activity on a full-time basis, they need extra training to improve their cutting ability. "The Weekend Cutter" aims to provide that training. The half-hour show visits the practice pens of notable cutting horse trainers and eavesdrops as the trainers provide one-on-one instruction to their clients. The show then heads out to cutting competitions to see if the trainee -- with the trainer in the arena coaching them -- can bring it all together in front of a judge.
