Description: Melanie Sykes presents while Michelin-starred chef Marco Pierre White judges this cookery competition that has a poker twist. Each episode features four amateur chefs who compete for a £2,500 cash prize. In order to win, the contestants take part in three cooking challenges set in the `Humble Pie' kitchen. The best dish might not always win, however, as the show asks the aspiring cooks to rate one another's creations with brutal critiques. They can forfeit their place in the competition for a smaller exit fee or they can gamble on their skillset to either impress Marco and win or misjudge and lose.
