Who Killed Angie Dodge? Keith Morrison Investigates
Description: The 1996 murder of Angie Dodge is a case that resonates to this day. Its many twists and turns primarily involve the conviction of Chris Tapp after he confessed to participating in her murder. He was sentenced to life in prison. But Tapp was released after more than 7,000 days behind bars, although his conviction was upheld. Journalist Keith Morrison revisits the Dodge investigation through his original 2012 interviews for "Dateline NBC" with Angie's mother, Carol -- who fought for Tapp's exoneration -- former police detectives who handled Tapp's interrogations, and others close to the case. Morrison also shares up-to-date developments, including a new interview with Carol Dodge, Tapp's public defender and a man who was falsely implicated in Angie's murder but has never before spoken on camera about it. Despite saying it stands by Tapp's conviction, the police department continues to search for Dodge's killer.
