Description: `The Big Painting Challenge' goes on a nationwide search for Britain's best amateur artist. Actress Una Stubbs and radio/TV personality Richard Bacon present the show. Ten hopefuls take on a series of painting and drawing challenges, covering everything from landscapes to life sketches. Judging their finished works are established artists Daphne Todd OBE and Lachlan Goudie, who eliminate one person in each episode until finally crowning an ultimate winner. Using a range of mediums such as oils, acrylics and watercolours, the budding artists must maximise their skills to impress the panel and make it through to the finish line.
