Super Jeopardy!

Description: The top champions from the first six seasons of "Jeopardy!" return to compete for $250,000. A 13-week tournament in the summer of 1990, which brought back 36 notable "Jeopardy!" contestants, including past Tournament of Champions winners and other notables from the show's history (including Burns Cameron, one of the biggest winners of the original 1964 NBC series). The game (and its rules) was identical to the beloved syndicated quiz show with a twist (e.g., host Trebek reads an answer, must phrase in the form of a question, Daily Doubles, etc.). Scoring was done in points, with Jeopardy. round answers worth 200 to 1,000 points and Double Jeopardy. answers ranging from 500 to 2,500 points. The first nine weeks of shows featured four contestants, with the three semi-final and final matches having the usual three contestants. The winner of the "Super Jeopardy!" tournament won $250,000; the runners-up all received cash prizes based on how they did.
