Description: `Sugartown' is a drama that revolves around a small seaside hamlet in northern England that once enjoyed a heyday as the rock `n' roll capital of Britain. When a former Sugartown resident, Max, unexpectedly returns with plans to redevelop the town to gear it toward holiday-at-homers, his plans include building a casino and closing the town's famous rock `n' roll factory which, like the town itself, has seen better days. As the rock factory is Sugartown's main employer, its closure would devastate the community. But the eccentric Sugartown locals won't take things lying down. With the help of a newcomer to town, the residents discover that Sugartown once had another claim to fame, dance, and they may have found a way to save it.
