Sex: The Revolution
Description: This documentary charts the dramatic shifts in sexual attitudes and practices, as well as the laws governing them, since the 1950s, when the prevalent attitude was negative regarding sex outside of marriage. The turbulent '60s brought in a wave of sexual liberation, which led to the "anything goes" 1970s. The 1980s, however, saw the pendulum swing back to more conservative social attitudes, especially as AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases began to take a dreadful toll.
