Description: Martin Yan returns to public television with a new 26-episode series exploring the history and cuisine of Vietnam. Aside from demonstrating Vietnamese mainstays such as beef pho and vermicelli noodle soup, Martin also explores some new dishes, including coffee-flavored ribs and duck cassoulet. Throughout the series, Martin travels extensively through Vietnam, where he does some fishing, samples street food and learns about rice cultivation. Other recipes featured include banana blossom salad with duck and ginger, sauteed duck breast sandwich, clam salad and shrimp mousse on a sugar cane.
