For this series the ghost-hunting takes the network south with Deep South Paranormal Research, a bayou-based team of investigators who want to unlock mysteries that have confused residents for years. The investigators -- who have a passion for the region and paranormal events that occur there -- take on everything from swamp apparitions to haunted plantations and voodoo legends. Being in swampy areas, they often have to deal with such dangers as gators, snakes and mosquitos during the investigations that take the team to locations like the Old Cahawba ghost town in Alabama and Devil's Swamp in Louisiana.
