Description: "Cake Wars" returns with a Christmas-themed season and a new format that pits seven teams against one another in a competition that takes place over the course of six episodes, with a $50,000 prize at the end for the team that survives the weekly eliminations. Each episode features two rounds; the first challenges the teams to create edible Christmas-themed cakes. The winner of the first round gains an advantage in the second, during which the teams must create larger-than-life cake displays. Chef and humorist Charles Phoenix and pastry chef Sherry Yard sit on the judging panel, joined by guest judges throughout the season, to determine which team is eliminated each week and, ultimately, who wins the grand prize. Actor Jonathan Bennett hosts.
