"Apollo's Moon Shot" showcases rare artifacts from the vaults of the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum, including John Glenn's camera, Apollo 11's command module and space boots covered in lunar dust. The series revisits the triumphs and tragedies of the Apollo program, presenting newly restored archival film, stunning footage of each mission and NASA's oral histories taken from the astronauts' debriefings.
