Description: A once-stately Detroit mansion -- left for dead in the wake of the Great Depression -- is restored to its Roaring '20s glory by the original owner's great-grandson. Armed with a family photo from 1927 and his childhood memories of hearing about the place, Christopher Lee buys it at auction for $8,000 and intends to live there with his wife and baby daughter during construction. But ceilings are collapsing, the roof leaks, floors are full of holes, and lead must be removed, so Lee's grand plans might be too ambitious.
